Short Biography
Yin-Yann Chen was born in 1978 in Taiwan. He is a Professor in the Department of Industrial Management at National Formosa University (NFU), Taiwan. Dr. Chen received his B.S. (2001) and Ph.D. (2006) degrees in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan. In 2007, he served as a Senior Engineer at AU Optronics (AUO) Corporation. Dr. Chen's current research interests include smart manufacturing, production planning and scheduling, optimization theory and applications, intelligent logistics, and system simulation. He has published over 30 papers in internationally recognized, high-impact journals, as well as more than 70 conference papers that were presented in Taiwan and abroad. In addition, he has actively participated in numerous university-industry collaboration projects across both high-tech and traditional sectors.
